Enhancing FAIR Data Services in Agricultural Disaster: A Review

The agriculture sector is highly vulnerable to natural disasters and climate change, leading severe impacts on food security, economic stability, rural livelihoods. use of geospatial information technology has been recognized as a valuable tool help farmers reduce the adverse agriculture. Remote sensing GIS are gaining traction ways improve agricultural disaster response due recent advancements in spatial resolution, accessibility, affordability. This paper presents comprehensive overview FAIR services. It holistically introduces current status, case studies, technologies, challenges, it provides big picture exploring applications for “from farm space”. review begins with an governments organizations worldwide. We present major international national initiatives relevant context. second part this illustrates research remote sensing-based monitoring, special focus drought flood events. Traditional, integrative, machine learning-based methods highlighted section. then examine role data infrastructure services systems. generic lifecycle briefly introduced. Eventually, we discuss grand challenges emerging opportunities that range from analysis-ready decision-ready services, providing guidance foreseeable future.
